Summer literacy camps for Indigenous kids get funding in 14 Alberta communities

On July 27, 2017, Alberta Education Minister David Eggen visited Frontier College's Summer Literacy Camp in Tsuu T'ina. He also announced that the Alberta government is committing to a $1.6million investment over three years to support 14 camps in First Nations in Alberta.

We are honoured to accept this donation so that we can continue to offer camps that give children the chance to learn and have fun over the summer, while reducing summer learning loss and giving confidence for the school year ahead.
