In response to the COVID-19 pandemic,  we are suspending our regular programs and closing our offices to the public until further notice. During this period, staff will work from home and we are moving quickly to find innovative ways to continue our programs remotely.  We are available through our social channels and by phone and email for questions and inquiries.

What we are doing
/Ways to Give / Build a Legacy

Build a Legacy

Planned giving is a thoughtful process that enables you to make a donation and maximize the personal benefits of your charitable giving. At the same time, you make a lasting contribution toward improving literacy rates for Canadians for generations to come. In short, a planned gift is a way for you to combine your personal financial objectives with your charitable giving goals.

There are three ways to Leave a Legacy:
Gift Through Your Will
Gifts of Securities
Gifts of Insurance

Dr. Margaret Strang Society
The Society is named after Dr. Margaret Strang who, in 1929, was the first female Frontier College Labourer-Teacher to be a part of the "homesteading" program in Northern Ontario.

The Dr. Margaret Strang Society is a committed group of individuals who have remembered Frontier College in their wills. These people, like the Society's namesake, are dedicated to improving literacy for all Canadians.
