Gifts Through Your Will
Planned giving is a thoughtful process that enables you to make a donation and maximize the personal benefits of your charitable giving. At the same time, you make a lasting contribution toward improving literacy rates for Canadians for generations to come. In short, a planned gift is a way for you to combine your personal financial objectives with your charitable giving goals.
When you are getting your affairs in order, you may wish to consider naming Frontier College in your plans. A bequest in your will is a straightforward and simple way to ensure lower taxes for your estate heirs and is a good philanthropic choice. Whether you have a modest estate or have accumulated substantial wealth, the gift of a bequest in your will can make a significant difference in improving literacy skills for Canadians. The terms of a planned gift can be changed throughout your lifetime if you decide to modify your charitable bequest.
Should you wish to make a bequest in your will to Frontier College, and are interested in finding out more information about your options, please contact us at 1-800-555-6523 ext. 343 or complete a confidential Statement of Intent and send to firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Society is named after Dr. Margaret Strang who, in 1929, was the first female Frontier College Labourer-Teacher to be a part of the "homesteading" program in Northern Ontario.
The Dr. Margaret Strang Society is a committed group of individuals who have remembered Frontier College in their wills. These people, like the Society's namesake, are dedicated to improving literacy for all Canadians.
